Marsha S. Diamond, CPC, CPC-H, CCS

For over 30 years Marsha has been involved in medical coding, compliance, billing, healthcare reimbursement, education and management fields.  Marsha's experience encompasses academic medicine, hospital, hospital-based physicians, physicians and facility coding.

As a Certified Medical Coder (CPC), a Certified Medical coder-Hospital (CPC-H), and a Certified Coding Specialist (CSS) she lends her expertise to seasoned pros and novices alike.  She is the author of numerous coding textbooks including Mastering Medical Coding, Code Compass, Understanding Hospital Coding and Billing and the Coders Resource Handbook.  Over the years Marsha's articles have been published in coding and compliance publications and newsletters. 

Marsha is the Program Director/ Instructor of Coding and Health Information at Central Florida College in Orlando, Florida.

She is a well respected speaker/workshop presenter at National conferences including AAPC and MGMA.  In addition, she is often requested to speak at State AHIMA conferences, physician groups, and coding organizations such as the Coding Institute and Ingenix.  She is also a past AAPC National Advisory Board member.  She is a past President of the Orlando Chapter of Ingenix where she currently serves as Advisory Board member.
